Origin of name | Sequential lettering of alleys in the Calhoun Park plan |
C Way was laid out in the Calhoun Park plan of lots in 1917, running between Oakdale Avenue (today Oakleaf Drive) and Greenwood Avenue (today Lougean Avenue), from Edgewood Avenue (today Leaside Drive) to the southeast edge of the plan.[1] It was the second in a series of consecutively lettered alleys in that plan, starting with B Way (later Oakleaf Way) and ending with L Way.
C Way probably still exists as a short unmarked alley perpendicular to the end of D Way.
