Origin of name Sequential lettering of alleys in the Calhoun Park plan

E Way was laid out in the Calhoun Park plan of lots in 1917 in two pieces: one from Edgewood Avenue (today Leaside Drive) to D Way, and another, somewhat offset, from D Way to Park Way (today Scorer Street).[1] It was the fourth in a series of consecutively lettered alleys in that plan, starting with B Way (later Oakleaf Way) and ending with L Way.

E Way no longer exists.
