Neighborhood | Lincoln Place |
Origin of name | Sequential lettering of alleys in the Calhoun Park plan |
G Way was laid out in the Calhoun Park plan of lots in 1917.[1] It was the sixth in a series of consecutively lettered alleys in that plan, starting with B Way (later Oakleaf Way) and ending with L Way.
The map from the Department of City Planning shows that G Way still exists, as an unmarked alley leading northeastward from Oakleaf Drive.[2]
