Reno Way

From Pittsburgh Streets
Reno Way
Neighborhood Garfield

Reno Way was laid out in 1922 in the Kincaid Park plan of lots.[1]

Charles F. Danver included Reno Way in a 1937 Post-Gazette column on unusual Pittsburgh street names: "And Pittsburghers, if they care to, can take Relief way or Reno way."[2] In that era, "the Reno way" was used as a euphemism for divorce.
