The {{street}} template creates an infobox for a street. Pages in the main namespace that use the {{street}} template are added to Category:Streets.

name | The name of the street. If name is not specified, the page title will be used (with the disambiguator dropped, if there is one).

| neighborhoods | A comma-separated list of neighborhoods through which the street runs. For a street in only one neighborhood, neighborhood can be used as a synonym. Streets that do not specify a value for the neighborhoods or neighborhood parameter will be added to Category:Streets with no neighborhoods specified.

| origin | A brief description of the origin of the street's name. Streets that do not specify a value for the origin parameter will be added to Category:Streets with no origin specified.

| origin-categories | One or more categories corresponding to the origin of the street's name. These should be subcategories of Category:Streets by origin of name. Give the categories in double brackets, and list multiple categories immediately after one another, with no spaces or punctuation between them. For example:

| fate | If the street no longer exists, a brief description of the street's fate (e.g., Vacated in 1928). If fate is specified, the street will be added to Category:Streets that no longer exist. The special value Gone (case-insensitive) will add the street to that category but not display anything in the infobox; instead, the street will also be added to the maintenance category Category:Streets that no longer exist with no fate specified.

| wikipedia | The title of the Wikipedia article for the street. | |
| denominative | The denominative for the street (e.g., street, avenue, or boulevard). If this parameter is not specified, the last word of the page title (after stripping the disambiguator, if any) will be used. The special value none can be used to indicate that the street has no denominative (e.g., West Commons).

| former-names | One or more former names for the street (in chronological order, if there are several). This should be one or more instances of {{former name}}. See {{former name}} for details. For a street with only one former name, former-name can be used as a synonym.
