Source notes:Ordinance-1898-19

From Pittsburgh Streets

Many of the new names bestowed by this ordinance (in particular, all the names given to formerly numbered streets) are names of boroughs or unincorporated communities in Pennsylvania. But note that Industry, Climax, and Freeland were first given by Source:Ordinance-1881-33. It seems unlikely that Climax Street was named for Climax in Armstrong county: see Notes:Climax Street.
