"If you're still there, Pa Pitt's village has a Private way . . ." I don't think Private Way was actually a city alley—I think it was just a description of a private alley. Source:Polk-1928, p. 100, lists "PRIVATE WAY (Private), west from 4814 Lytle, 15th wd." This does not appear on any map that I know of. Various Hopkins atlases do show a "private way" branching off east from 4411 Chatsworth Avenue.
