ALLEGHENY COUNTY, ss.

The commonwealth of Pennsylvania: to the Sheriff of Allegheny county, greeting: If Andrew W. Black make you secure of prosecuting his claim, then we command you that you summon, by good and lawful summons, Gordon T. Ewing and Margaret his wife, James H. M'Clelland and Elizabeth his wife, Alexander Black, Samuel W. Black, William Black, Robert Black, and Martha Ann Black, and the Rev. John Black, which Samuel W. Black, William, Robert, and Martha Ann Black, are Minors of your counto [sic], so that they be and appear before our Judge at Pittsburgh, at our County District Court there to be held the fourth Monday of July next, to show wherefore, whereas they, the said Andrew W. Black, and the aforesaid Gordon T. Ewing and wife, James H. M'Clelland and wife, Alexander Black, and Samuel W., William, Robert, and Martha Ann Black, minors as aforesaid, together and undivided, do hold, all that certain piece of land situate in Pitt Township, consisting of part of the northernmost of the lots numbered "eight" on the plan annexed to the last will and testament of Andrew Watson, deceased, and bounded and described as follows, to wit: beginning at the corner of Wylie street and Elm lane; thence extending along the said Elm lane to "The Farmer's and Mechanic's Turnpike Road; thence along the said road to the line of lot No. "seven',' devised by the said Andrew Watson to Robert Watson; thence along the line of the same to Wylie street, and thence along Wylie st. about two hundred and eighteen feet to the place of beginning; subject to the lanes and alleys laid out by the said Andrew W. Black and Rev. John Black, (excepting therefrom all that piece of land, beginning on Congress street at the distance of fifty feet southwardly from the corner of Franklin street, and extending in front on Congress street two hundred feet, and in depth to Elm alley; and excepting also all that certain other piece of land extending on Franklin street eighty-four feet, and on Congress street southwardly ninety feet:) also all that certain other piece of land, consisting of another part of the aforesaid lot, number "eight," and bounded by Coal lane, by Elm alley, by Wylie street, and by lot No. "seven" in the said Andrew Watson's plan, which said portion of lot No. "eight" is subject to an estate to the said John Black during his life. Also all that certain other piece of land situate in the township aforesaid, consisting of the whole southernmost lot No. "eight:" and also of part of the northernmost lot No. "seven" in the said Andrew Watson's plan, and bounded northwardly by the Farmer's and Mechanic's Turnpike Road, eastwardly by property of Jane M'Kee, southwardly by Locust street, and westwardly by property of Robert Watson. Also all that other piece of land, situate partly in the city of Pittsburgh, and partly in said township of Pitt, being a portion of the subdivision of the northernmost of the lots No. "nine" in the said Andrew Watson's plan, and extending in front on Wylie street, one hundred and two feet four and a half inches, and in depth, along Federal street, three hundred and forty-two feet three and three-quarters inches to property of Robert Watson.

Also all that certain other piece of land, consisting of a portion of the subdivision of the southernmost of the lots numbered "nine" in the said Andrew Watson's plan, and extending in front along the Farmers and Mechanic's turnpike Road, fifty one feet three inches, and in depth southwardly, two hundred and twenty feet, with the appurtenances, the same Gordon T. Ewing and wife, James H. M'Clelland and wife, Alexander Black, Rev. John Black, and Samuel W., William, Robert, and Martha Ann Black, minors as aforesaid, partition thereof between them to be made, (according to the laws and customs of this commonwealth in such case made and provided) do gainsay and the same to be done, do not permit very unjustly against the same laws and customs (as 'tis said.) And have you then there the names of summoners and this writ.
