AN ORDINANCE — VACATING Godard Street between Gurley Street and Wineva Street; Torch Way, between Godard Street and Slate Street; Slate Street, between Havana Street and Torch Street; Havana Street, between Godard Street and Torch Street; Sulphur Way, between Godard Street and Frederkeil Street; Foxley Street, between Godard Street and Frederkeil Street; Wineva Street, between Godard Street and the easterly line of Frederkeil Street; Zipp Way, between Slate Street and Frederkeil Street; Otego Street, between Frederkeil Street and the westerly line of Slate Street; Note Way, between Godard Street and Frederkeil Street; Slate Street, between Havana Street and Otego Street and Frederkeil Street; between Havana Street and Torch Street, all in the Thirty-first Ward of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owner of all the property fronting or abutting on the lines of the above streets have petitioned the Council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact an Ordinance for the vacation of the same; and

WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the City from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any property owned by the petitioner or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore

The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. That Godard Street between Gurley Street and Wineva Street; Torch Way, between Godard Street and Slate Street; Slate Street, between Havana Street and Torch Street; Havana Street, between Godard Street and Torch Street; Sulphur Way, between Godard Street and Frederkeil Street; Foxley Street, between Godard Street and Frederkeil Street; Tinton Way, between Godard Street and Frederkeil Street; Wineva Street, between Godard Street and the easterly line of Frederkeil Street; Zipp Way, between Slate Street and Frederkeil Street; Otego Street, between Frederkeil Street and the westerly line of Slate Street; Note Way, between Godard Street and Frederkeil Street; Slate Street, between Havana Street and Torch Street, all in the Thirty-first Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, shall be and the same are hereby vacated.

Section 2. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance, conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
