AN ORDINANCE—Changing the name of Telegraph Square, in the Second Ward, to "Gazette Square."

Whereas, The changing of this name to Gazette Square restores the name to its original title and associations so that it may conform more nearly to its tradition and present uses; Therefore,

The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. That the name of Telegraph Square, from the northerly street line of Strawberry Way produced to the easterly line of Bigelow Boulevard; from the northerly line of Strawberry Way produced to Tunnel Street, and from Pentland Street to Webster venue [sic], in the Second Ward, City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby changed to "Gazette Square."

Section 2. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance, conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
