BOROUGH OF KNOXVILLE
ORDINANCE No. 532
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF CANICE STREET, IN THE BOROUGH OF KNOXVILLE, TO ORCHARD PLACE; AND REPEALING ANY ORDINANCE OR ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 530 enacted and approved December 21, 1926, the name of Orchard Place in the Borough of Knoxville was changed to Canice Street, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council that said street shall again be known as Orchard Place.
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED and enacted by the Burgess and Town Council of the Borough of Knoxville, County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in Council assembled and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. That Canice Street in the Borough of Knoxville shall, from and after the passage of this ordinance, be known as Orchard Place.
SECTION 2. Any ordinance or part of ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed, in so far as the same effects [sic] this ordinance.
