AN ORDINANCE—Establishing the opening grades on Caton street, Ebdy street, Maria way, Shady avenue and Victory way as laid out and proposed to be dedicated as legally opened highways by Maria L. Ebdy Plan of Lots called "Ebdy Orchard Plan."
Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Council assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That upon the approval of a plan of lots proposed to be laid out by Maria L. Ebdy of her property in the Fourteenth ward, the grades to which Caton street, Ebdy street, Maria way, Shady avenue and Victory way, as shown thereon, shall be accepted as opened public highways of said City, shall be as hereinafter set forth.
CATON STREET.
The grade of the north curb line shall begin on the easterly curb line of Shady avenue at an elevation of 358.60 feet; thence rising at a rate of 5% for a distance of 10.0 feet to an elevation of 359.10 feet; thence rising at a rate of 8.4% for a distance of 355.06 feet to the easterly line of Ebdy Orchard Plan of Lots to an elevation of 388.92 feet.
EBDY STREET.
The grade of the northerly curb line of Ebdy street shall begin on the easterly curb line of Shady avenue at an elevation of 338.62 feet; thence rising at a rate of 5% for a distance of 10.0 feee [sic] to an elevation of 339.12 feet; thence rising at a rate of 10% for a distance of 115.0 feet to an elevation of 350.62 feet; thence by a convex parabolic curve for a distance of 100.0 feet to a point of tangent to an elevation of 357.92 feet; thence rising at a rate of 4.6% for a distance of 130.67 feet to the easterly line of Ebdy Orchard Plan of Lots to an elevation of 363.93 feet.
MARIA WAY.
The grade of the northerly line shall begin on the easterly curb line of Shady avenue at an elevation of 348.90 feet; thence rising at a rate of 8% for a distance of 360.37 feet to the easterly line of Ebdy Orchard Plan of Lots to an elevation of 377.73 feet.
SHADY AVENUE.
The grade of the easterly curb line shall begin on the southerly curb of Monitor street at an elevation of 321.10 feet; thence by a concave parabolic curve for a distance of 60.0 feee [sic] to an elevation of 324.20 feet; thence rising at a rate of 8% for a distance of 426.19 feet to an elevation of 358.30 feet; thence rising at a rate of 3% for a distance of 10.0 feet to the northerly curb line of Caton street to an elevation of 358.60 feet.
VICTORY WAY.
The grade of the northerly line of Victory way shall begin on the easterly curb line of Shady avenue at an elevation of 328.30 feet; thence rising at a rate of 4.6% for a distance of 350.85 feet to the easterly line of Ebdy Orchard Plan of Lots to an elevation of 344.44 feet.
Section 2. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance be, and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
