AN ORDINANCE—Opening Lindo street, in the Eighteenth ward of the City of Pittsburgh, from a point 359.38 feet eastwardly from Taft avenue to Industry street, and providing that the cost, damages and expenses occasioned thereby be assessed against and collected from properties benefited thereby.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Council assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That Lindo street, from a point 359.38 feet eastwardly from Taft avenue to Industry street, in the Eighteenth ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be opened to a width of thirty (30) feet by taking all the following described property, to-wit:

Beginning at a point on the southerly building line of Lindo street, at a distance of 359.38 feet eastwardly from the intersection of the easterly building line of Taft avenue and the southerly building line of Lindo street; thence eastwardly along said line for a distance of 3.60 feet to a point of curve; thence southeastwardly by the arc of a circle having a radius of 63.12 feet and a central angle of 52° 40′ 00″ for a distance of 58.02 feet to a point of reverse curve; thence by the arc of a circle having a radius of 93.12 feet and a central angle of 50° 10′ 40″ for a distance of 81.55 feet to a point of tangent, said point being the intersection of the easterly building line of Laverne street and the southerly building line of Industry street; thence deflecting to the left 85° 25′ 20″ for a distance of 30.09 feet to the intersection of the easterly building line of Laverne street and the northerly building line of Industry street; thence deflecting to the left 94° 34′ 40″ along the said northerly building line produced for a distance of 2.40 feet to a point of curve; thence northwestwardly by the arc of a circle having a radius of 63.12 feet and a central angle of 50° 10′ 40″ for a distance of 55.28 feet to a point of reverse curve; thence by the arc of a circle having a radius of 93.12 feet and a central angle of 52° 40′ 00″ for a distance of 85.60 feet to a point of tangent; thence deflecting to the left 83° 10′ 00″ for a distance of 30.21 feet to the place of beginning.

Section 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Lindo street, from a point 359.38 feet eastwardly from Taft avenue to Industry street, to be opened, in conformity with the provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance.

Section 3. The cost, damages and expenses caused thereby, and the benefits to pay the same, shall be assessed against and collected from properties benefited thereby, in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania relating thereto and regulating the same.

Section 4. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
