An ordinance providing for the re-naming and fixing the names of the streets and avenues in the Borough of Beechview.
Be is [sic] ordained and enacted by the Town Council of the Borough of Beechview, and it is hereby ordained by and with the authority of the same, That the streets and avenues in the said Borough be re-named, with the exception of Broadway, Crossan Street and South Sharon Avenue, the names of which are to remain as hertofore [sic], and that the names of the said streets and avenues be changed and re-named as follows:
First Avenue to Canton Avenue; Second Avenue to Norway Avenue; Third Avenue to Alton Avenue; Fourth Avenue to Belasco Avenue; Fifth Avenue to Rutherford Avenue; Sixth Avenue to Malvern Avenue; Seventh Avenue to Beechview Avenue; Eighth Avenue to Fallowfield Avenue; Ninth Avenue to Degmar [sic] Avenue; Center Avenue to Tropical Avenue; Baywood Avenue to Gladys Avenue; Lynn Street to Risby Avenue; Gladys Avenue to Lowen Avenue; Auburn Avenue to Wentworth Avenue; Trenton Avenue to Bayonne Avenue; Pennsylvania Avenue to Hampshire Avenue; Lowen Avenue to Coast Avenue; Evans Avenue to Greeley Avenue; Church Avenue to Bronson Avenue, and South Seventh Avenue to Realty Avenue.
Ordained and enacted into a law this 28th day of April, A. D. 1908.
