AN ORDINANCE—Approving and accepting the dedication of Snowden street (southerly one-half) from Brushton avenue to Calhoun street.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the following dedication of Snowden street (southerly one-half) extending from Brushton avenue to Calhoun street shall be and the same is hereby approved and accepted:

DEDICATION of certain land for a public street to be known as Snowden street, extending from Brushton avenue to Calhoun street.

The undersigned, being the owner in fee simple of all the land hereinafter described, does hereby dedicate and set apart for public use, as a public highway, forever, all the following: A strip of ground 20 feet in width extending from Brushton avenue to Calhoun street and being the southerly one-half of Snowden street as located by an ordinance approved Feb. 17th, 1899. And I do hereby waive any and all claims for damages which I may have, or which may accrue to me by reason of the taking and appropriating of the said ground for street or highway purposes, as shown upon a plan hereto attached and made a part hereof, and I do hereby authorize the City of Pittsburgh, through its proper officers to take possession of the said land hereinbefore described and treat it the same as though opened and acquired by and under an ordinance of Councils duly approved.
