AN ORDINANCE—Changing and establishing the names of avenues, streets and alleys in the Fortieth ward of the City of Pittsburgh.
Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the names of the following avenues, streets and alleys in the Fortieth ward of the City of Pittsburgh shall be and the same are hereby changed as follows, to-wit:
Beech alley, between Hollydale ay. and Fernwood st., to Babylon way.
Buttonwood alley, between Babylon way and Oregon st., to Bagdad way.
Clifton avenue, between City line and property line, to Conestoga avenue.
Eighth street, between Carson st. west and Naples ave., to Earl street.
Eleventh street, between Carson st. west and Powell ave., to Edgecliffe street.
First street, between Carson st. west and Oregon st., to Fernwood street.
Fourth street, between Carson st. west and Oregon st., to Florien street.
Fifth street, between Carson st. west and Esplen st., to Frustum street.
Front alley, betwen [sic] Earl st. and Frustum st., to Front way.
Hazel alley, between Oregon st. and Babylon way, to Hollydale way.
John street, between Strickler st. and City line, to Joslyn street.
Ninth street, between Carson st. west and Powell ave., to Navarre street.
Nimick avenue, between Earl st. and property line, to Naples avenue.
Orchard street, between Stadium st. and Fernwood st., to Oregon street.
Plum avenue, between Brunot ave. and City line, to Paulding avenue.
Phillips avenue, between Edgecliffe st. and Earl st., to Powell avenue.

River avenue, between Old City line and New City line, to Carson street West.
Revere street, between Glen Mawr ave. and property line, to Rochelle street.

Unnamed alley, between Strickler st. and City line, to Narrow way.
Unnamed alley, between Stadium st. and property line, to Caledonia way.
Unnamed street, between Narrow way and property line, to Calumet street.
Unnamed street, between Carson st. west and property line, to Castalia street.
Wiley street, between Florien st. and Tabor st., to Walcott street.
Wood street, between City line and property line, to Washburn street.
Section 2. That the names of the following avenues, streets and alleys in the Fortieth ward of the City of Pittsburgh shall be and the same are hereby established as follows, to-wit:
Brunot avenue, between David avenue and Sacramento avenue.
David avenue, between Brunot avenue and City line.
Esplen alley and street, between Earl street and Florien street.
Gilroy street, between Narrow way and Strickler street.
Glen Mawr avenue, between Carson street west and City line.
Hunt street, between Rochelle street and City line.
Sloan street and alley, between Frustum street and Tabor street.
Strickler street, between Esplen street and Sacramento avenue.
Section 3. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
