AN ORDINANCE—Authorizing the opening of Tilbury avenue, from Forward avenue to Nicholson street, and the assessment of damages caused by the grade of the same.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That Tilbury avenue, from Forward avenue to Nicholson street, be opened to a width of sixty (60) feet, in accordance with an ordinance locating the same, approved May 13th, 1897, O. B., Vol. 11, page 401.

Section 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be surveyed and opened said Tilbury avenue between Forward avenue and Nicholson street.

Section 3. The damages caused thereby and the damages caused by the grade thereof and the benefits to pay the same to be assessed against and collected from properites [sic] specially benefitted, in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania relating thereto and regulating the same.

Section 4. That any ordinance or part of ordinance, conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this ordinance.
