AN ORDINANCE 149

Changing the name of Boyd street to Orchard place in the Borough of Knoxville.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the Burgess and Town Council of the Borough of Knoxville in council assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, that Boyd street, extending from Knox avenue eastwardly to Amanda avenue in said borough be, and is hereby changed to the name of Orchard place, so that the entire street extending from Amanda avenue to Beltzhoover avenue shall be known and called as Orchard place.

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby repealed so far as the same affects this ordinance.

Ordained and enacted into a law of Council this sixth day of November, A. D. 1897.
