AN ORDINANCE—Establishing the grade of Choate alley from Pearl street to Friendship avenue.
Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the grade of the centre line of Choate alley from Pearl street to Friendship avenue be and the same is hereby established as follows, to wit: Beginning on the west curb of Pearl street at an elevation of 248.38 feet; thence falling at the rate of 1.24 of a foot per 100 feet for a distance of 167 feet to a point at an elevation of 246.31 feet; thence falling at the rate pf [sic] 3.137 feet per 100 feet for a distance of 229.50 feet to the east curb of Cullen street at an elevation of 239.11 feet; thence falling at the rate of 1.186 feet per 100 feet for a distance of 354.08 feet to the east curb of Friendship avenue at an elevation of 234.91 feet.
Sec. 2. That any ordinance or part of ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this ordinance.
