No. 5.

AN ORDINANCE—Locating Beacon street, from Shady avenue to Forward avenue.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the north 5 foot line and centre line of Beacon street from Shady avenue to Forward avenue be and the same is hereby located and established as follows, to wit:

The north 5 foot line shall begin on the centre line of Shady avenue at a distance of 3.02 feet southwardly from a stone monument situated at an angle in said Shady avenue, thence deflecting to the right 89° 49′ for a distance of 1,101.79 feet to a point on the west 5 foot line of Murray avenue, thence deflecting to the left 81° 12′ by the west 5 foot line of Murray avenue for a distance of 20.49 feet to a pin situated at the intersection of the west 5 foot line of Murray avenue and the centre line of Beacon street, thence deflecting to the right 82° 37′ by the centre line of Beacon street for a distance of 4130.001 feet to a stone monument situated at the intersection of the centre lines of Coanza and Beacon streets, at a with [sic] of 60 feet. Thence deflecting to the left 4° 41′ for a distance of 381.50 feet to a point; thence deflecting to the left 12° 42′ for a distance of 526.64 feet to a point of curve; thence deflecting to the left 17° 05′ by the chord of a curve having a radius of 216.65 feet for a distance of 127.286 feet to a point of tangent; thence deflecting to the left 17° 05′ for a distance of 508.46 feet to a point of curve; thence deflecting to the right 8° 05′ by the chord of a curve having a radius of 498.251 feet for a distance of 140.122 feet to a point of tangent; thence deflecting to the right 8° 05′ for a distance of 289.765 feet to a point at a width of 30 feet; thence deflecting to the left 66° 52′ for a distance of 200 feet more or less to a point on the centre line of Forward avenue at a width of 40 feet.

Sec. 2. That any ordinance or part of ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this ordinance.
