AN ORDINANCE—Authorizing the Grading of Relief alley.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the Select and Common Councils of the city of Allegheny, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the Committee on Streets be and they are hereby authorized and directed to invite and receive proposals for the grading and paving of Relief alley, from Washington avenue to Ford street, and to contract therefor with the lowest and best bidder or bidders, at their discretion.

Sec. 2. That for defraying the cost and expenses of the same, there is hereby levied a special assessment, said assessment to be made and collected as provided by the Act of Assembly entitled "An Act relative to Streets in the city of Allegheny," approved April 1, 1870.

Sec. 3. That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances inconsistent herewith be and are hereby repealed.

Ordained and enacted into a law this 19th day of June, A. D. 1873.
