AN ORDINANCE

Authorizing the Surveying and Opening of Egerton [sic] Avenue.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to survey and open Egerton [sic] avenue, from its intersection with Forbes street to the city line, in accordance with the plans in the City Engineer's office, approved at the meeting of Councils, September 27th, 1869, and that Frank Rahm, John H. Stewart and George A. Berry be hereby appointed to appraise damages and assess benefits caused thereby, in accordance with an act of Assembly approved January 4th, 1864.

Sec. 2. That any ordinance or part of ordinance conflicting with the passage of this ordinance at the present time, be and the same is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this ordinance.

Ordained and enacted into a law in Councils, this 29th day of November, A. D., 1869.
