"An ordinance repealing all Ordinances and Resolutions passed during the years 1860 and 1861, relating to the Grading and Paving of Mattock's Alley." Pittsburgh city ordinance, 1862. Whereas, The grading and paving of Mattock's Alley has been done at the expense of the property owners on the west side of the alley. Therefore,
Be it ordained and enacted by the Mayor, Aldermen and citizens of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby enacted by authority of the same, That all Ordinances, Resolutions, &c., passed during the years 1860 and 1861 relating or purtaining to the grading and paving of said alley, be and the same are hereby repealed and rescinded. And further, that the City Solicitor be directed to discontinue the suit of the Mayor, Aldermen and citizens of Pittsburgh against Wycoff & O'Neal in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny county.
