Attorney Dies At Home in Ellsworth Ave.
K. W. Warmcastle Admitted to Bar in 1908

Funeral services for Karl W. Warmcastle, attorney who died Monday at his home, 4800 Ellsworth Ave., were to be held today at 4 p. m. at Samson Funeral Home, 537 Neville St. Burial was to be in Smithfield Cemetery.

Mr. Warmcastle, who was 64, specialized in life insurance law, workmen's compensation, and Orphan's Court practice. He was admitted to the bar in 1908.

He attended Shadyside Academy, was graduated from Yale and the University of Pittsburgh Law School.

During World War I he was a legal adviser to the draft board of the Fourteenth Ward, and as civilian aide to Brig. Gen. Jamison, procurement and production division, Washington.

He was a member of Shadyside Presbyterian Church.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Emma Gabel Warmcastle, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Warmcastle Johnston, and Mrs. Gretchen Warmcastle Morris; three grandchildren, Barbara Johnston, Joanne Johnston and James Morris, Jr.
