Fire in Allegheny.—On Friday night about eleven o'clock, a fire broke out in a frame tenement owned by John Stewart, located on First alley, near West street, in the Third ward, Allegheny. The alarm was given, but the flames had gained considerable headway, and before they could be extinguished communicated to an adjoining frame dwelling, also owned by Mr. Stewart. Both buildings were [. . .] entirely consumed. The Allegheny [fire] department was on the ground and [pre. . .] further progress of the flames. The [. . .] amount to about two thousand dollars.
