CITY'S TUBERCULOSIS HOSPITAL OPENED
Pittsburg's new tuberculosis hospleal [sic] on Leech farm was opened this afternoon. Mayor Armstrong, Director Edwards of the department of health and Councilman Goehring made brief addresses. Councilmen Garland, Rauh, Kerr, Herron, English, Hetzel and Woodburn were also present.
The hospital under present conditions will accommodate about 130 patients, and Director Edwards says it will be taxed to capacity within three months. The hospital building cost $150,000 and the equipment $15,000.
