Banksville Road Work Started

Construction of the million-dollar Banksville Road got underway today as the last of a series of delays was removed with permission to start work by the Public Works Administration.

The PWA's state administrator, G. Douglas Andrews, had ordered work on the project halted until he had approved the award of the contract by County Commissioners to the Booth & Flinn Contracting Company.

The project, partially financed by a federal grant of $210,000, when completed will connect McFarland Road and the traffice [sic] circle in Saw Mill Run Boulevard.
