Path Way
Neighborhood Hazelwood
Path Alley (until 1914)

This alley was laid out as Path Alley in a plan of lots for the heirs of Mary E. Johnston recorded in 1886.[1] It became Path Way in 1914 when a city ordinance changed all alleys in Pittsburgh to ways.[2]

Charles F. Danver included Path Way in a list of unusual Pittsburgh street names in a 1937 Post-Gazette column.[3]
