The original name of this street was Hill Road. (The city's neighborhood map still calls it "The Hill Rd.")[1] It was renamed One Wild Place in 1998 in honor of the centennial of the Pittsburgh Zoo.[2] The word "One" is part of the name of the street; it is not an address.
