Pittsburgh Daily Post, May 28, 1877, [p. 4] (Newspapers.com 88176212): "'Squire Alexander Miller, of McKeesport, enjoys the distinction of having looked upon the father of his country. The 'Squire's good old mother held him up in her arms in 1799 while he was one year old, to see General Washington as he rode through Philadelphia on horseback."
