Under this head we may mention Webster, Clay, Calhoun, Hamilton, Douglas, Benton, Addison, Corwin, Clayton, Wilkins, Gallatin, Randolph, Stanton, Tilden and Conkling. ¶ Far From What Should Be. ¶ Excepting Judges Addison's and Wikins' [sic], none of these have local fame. All are national."
