Source:Municipal-record-1872, p. 58 (1872-06-10 Common Council): "Ordinance for repaving, regrading and curbing of Leech street, from Thirty-sixth to Race streets. Laid over."

Source:Municipal-record-1873, p. 140: "JOINT RESOLUTION—Referring to Board of Viewers the repairing of Leech street. ¶ Resolved, That the Board of Viewers of Street Improvements be and are hereby authorized to inquire, and report to Councils, whether the regrading and repaving of Leech street, from Reed street to Sycamore street, is of local or general benefit, or partly local, and designate the district benefited thereby, and the proportion to be paid by the district benefited. ¶ Read three times and passed in Councils, this 8th day of December, 1873."
