Isoline Street

From Pittsburgh Streets
Isoline Street
Neighborhood Chartiers City
Isabella Street (until 1908)

This street was laid out as Isabella Street in 1889 in Charles Haas' plan of lots.[1]

The Borough of Sheraden, including today's neighborhood of Chartiers City, was annexed by Pittsburgh in 1907,[2] 15 days before Allegheny City was annexed.[3] Allegheny City had an Isabella Street too, so the following year the Isabella Street in the old Sheraden Borough was renamed Isoline Street.[4]
