This street appears as Harvey Street in the 1905 Hopkins atlas.[1] The borough of Carrick was annexed into the city of Pittsburgh in 1927,[2][3][4][5]:10[6] and in March of that year this street was renamed Haiti Street.[7]
Bob Regan includes "Haiti" in a list of streets named for countries.[5]:64
