Origin of name | Franks Town, named for Francis Stevens |
Frankstown Avenue is named for Franks Town, a Native American village named in honor of the pioneer Francis Stevens. The village was on the Juniata River, and the earlier Frankstown Trail ran from this village to the Point.[1][2][3]
