Ella Street

From Pittsburgh Streets
Ella Street
Neighborhood Bloomfield
Quarry Street (1850–1870)

This street was laid out as Quarry Street in the original plan of Bloomfield by William Woolslayer in 1850.[1] Quarry Street is shown in maps from the 1850s and 1860s.[2][3][4][5]

The name was changed to Ella Street in 1870,[6][7] presumably because of duplication with Quarry Street in the Strip District.
