This alley formerly ran eastward from the easternmost point of Watson Boulevard.[1] It was laid out as Delta Alley in the Watson Place plan of 1894.[2] It became Delta Way in 1914, when a city ordinance changed all alleys in Pittsburgh to ways.[3]
