Origin of name Anthony Beelen

Beelen Street is named for Anthony Beelen.[1] The 1815 map of William Darby shows Beelen's house at the location of the modern street.[2]

Fifth Avenue was once called Beelen's Road because it passed by Beelen's homestead.[2][3]
