Ross Street (until 1881) |
This street was originally named Ross Street; it appears in the 1830 map of Jean Barbeau and Lewis Keyon.[1]
The South Side was annexed by Pittsburgh in 1872.[2] In 1881, many streets were renamed to fix duplicates; Ross Street in the South Side conflicted with Ross Street downtown, so it was renamed Roland Street.[3]
