Pringle Street

From Pittsburgh Streets
Pringle Street
Neighborhood East Carnegie
Park Avenue (until 1922)

This street was laid out as Park Avenue in 1899 in the Osage Park plan of lots.[1]

Chartiers Township, including what is now East Carnegie, was annexed by Pittsburgh in 1921.[2] The following year, a Pittsburgh city ordinance renamed many streets in the annexed district; Park Avenue became Pringle Street.[3]
