Oberon Street

Overly Street (until 1922)

This street was laid out as Overly Street in 1903 in the Johnston Place plan.[1]

Chartiers Township, including the modern neighborhood of Windgap, was annexed by Pittsburgh in 1921.[2] The following year, a Pittsburgh city ordinance changed Overly Street to Oberon Street[3] to avoid confusion with Overlea Way in Swisshelm Park.
