Ohio Street (1901–1910) |
This street was laid out in 1869 in a plan of lots for Ann Reed, though that plan did not give it a name.[1] It was named Ohio Street by a city ordinance in 1901.[2][3]
In 1910, three years after Allegheny was annexed by Pittsburgh, over 900 streets were renamed to fix duplicates. Allegheny had a much more significant Ohio Street, so this street was renamed Orr Street.[4]
