Lysle Alley (until 1914)
Lysle Way (1914–1921)

This alley was laid out as Lysle Alley in two plans of lots by the West Liberty Improvement Company in 1907 and 1910.[1][2]

This part of Brookline was annexed by Pittsburgh in 1912.[3] Lysle Alley became Lysle Way in 1914, when a Pittsburgh city ordinance changed all alleys in the city to ways.[4]

Lysle Way was renamed Lugi Way in 1921[5] to avoid confusion with Lysle Street in California-Kirkbride.
