Corliss Street

From Pittsburgh Streets
Corliss Street
Neighborhoods Elliott, Esplen, Sheraden
Centre Street (until 1908)

This street was laid out as Centre Street by Edward McGinnis in 1874.[1] After Sheraden was annexed to the city of Pittsburgh in 1907,[2] this name conflicted with Centre Avenue, so it was renamed Corliss Street the next year.[3]
