Centre Street (until 1901) |
This street appears, unlabeled, in the 1872 Hopkins atlas.[1] It is shown as Centre Street in the 1882 atlas.[2] It was renamed China Street in 1901[3] to fix the duplication with Centre Avenue.
Bob Regan includes "China" in a list of streets named for countries.[4]
The street does not exist today. It was just southeast of the intersection of Greentree Road and Woodville Avenue.
