FOR SALE—400 ACRES OF COAL LAND, lying immediately upon the Ohio River, 20 miles below Gallipolis and 185 miles above Cincinnati. On the above tract is a 4 foot vein of coal, which for general purposes is unsurpassed. It is entirely different from Southern Ohio coal contains but little sulphur, forges and cokes well, and for making steam cannot be excelled. Being about midway between Pomeroy and Hanging Rock, makes it valuable for coaling boats. There is a water front of three-quarters of a mile with good landing at all stages of water. An entrance has been run in the hill 300 feet, track finished to river: together with the necessary fixtures for mining and delivering coal afloat. On said track is a first class Double Portable Circular Saw Mill, together with a Portable Grist Mill, all in good running order, and plenty of the very best oak, ash and poplar timber.

Would sell one-half interest if desired, to a party with experience and capital for working same.
