McBride Avenue

From Pittsburgh Streets
McBride Avenue
Neighborhood Lincoln Place
McBride Street (until 1930)

This street was laid out as McBride Street in 1925.[1]

Lincoln Place was annexed by Pittsburgh in 1929.[2] There were two McBride Streets in the new district, so this one, the northern one, was renamed McBride Avenue by a city ordinance the following year. (The southern one was renamed Nollhill Street.)[3]
